The team started in 2015 in the San Francisco Bay Area, doing AI research and custom ecommerce integrations for some of the world’s biggest brands. Rebilder points that experience at one shift: AI assistants help people evaluate products, services and software, while website clutter can obscure the information they need.

The gateway runs in the customer’s own stack. A customer’s pages answer agents even if every Rebilder server is offline.
